Survived by his daughter Faye (David), son Harvey (Marg) and daughter Lois, five grandchildren Kyle (Stacey), Elissa (Michael), Nathan (Jaime), Carlee (Keith) and Amy (Chris), as well as thirteen great grandchildren. Along with chosen daughter Janice.
He arrived in Port Alberni in 1951 from New Brunswick. He drove professionally most of his working career ending as a bus driver for School District #70 for 26 years. After Rodney retired he gave back to his community by becoming a school trustee for three terms.
A faithful attendee of Elim Tabernacle for 71 years, Rodney taught Adult Sunday School and was on the board for numerous terms.
Rodney went to be with his Lord and Saviour on Thursday June 2, 2022 at the age of 93 years.
