Anne Marie Hebert b. 5 Sep 1745 to Paul Hebert and Marguerite Melancon in St. Charles, Acadie. Sep 1755 in Grande Pre Acadie, Paul, her father was present at the Church of St. Charles-des-Mines when men and boys were read the Order of Deportation and held prisoner. Paul Hebert is on the Wall of Names still on the church wall. Anne's family was exiled to Maryland at Georgetown. At the end of the French-Indian War, they were able to leave, and on 1 Apr 1867, they left on the schooner "Virgin" arriving at New Orleans, then traveled to St. Gabriel. 27 Mar 1769 she married Joseph Dupuis. By Jan 1771 they lived on the west bank of the MS River, 6.75 miles below Bayou Plaquemines. The grant was 6 arpents on the face of the river by 40 arpents deep. Joseph was buried on 7 Dec 1781. His succession was liquidated 2 Mar 1785 and sold to Pierre Brunteau. 5 Mar 1785 widow Dupuis marries Pierre Brunteau. 29 May 1789 Pierre Brunteau and Diego Hernandez exchange properties (Sec. 27). 1 Aug 1791 Pierre Bruneteau dies. 19 Nov 1811 Anne sells Sec. 27 and slaves. Widow Hebert dies bef. 4 Jun 1825. Her children by Joseph were Joseph Aubrey, Jean, Anne Melanie, Magloire, Paul Hypolite, and Helene Dupuis. Her children by Pierre Bruneteau were Julia and Clarisse Celeste Bruneteau.
