Ann Orr Huff March 9, 1931 - July 12, 2022

Ann Orr Huff, widow of Harold Clinton Huff, went to rest with the Lord on July 12, 2022 after a 14 year battle with dementia/ Alzheimer's.

Born on March 9, 1931, in Hendersonville, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Thomas Franklin and Milda Guice Orr.

Mrs. Huff graduated from Dana High School, was a Registered Nurse and graduate of the Greenville General Hospital School of Nursing. She retired after 40 years of nursing, including 32 years at Dr. Robert C. Grier's office.

She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, Granny, nurse and friend. A member of West Gantt First Baptist Church in Greenville, S.C. she taught Sunday School, prepared many meals and sang in the choir for many years.

Dementia robbed her of many things, but it never took her smile, her love of music and her sweet, kind spirit. Mrs. Huff lived her life enriching lives and making the world a brighter place. She will be sorely missed.

She is survived by her sons, Perry Huff of Greenville, S.C. and Mark (Teresa) Huff of Gaffney, S.C.; a daughter, Kathy Huff Campbell (Mike) of Powdersville, S.C.; and daughter-in-law, Louise Huff of Greenville; four grandchildren, Chris (Casey) Campbell, Josh (Margaret) Campbell, Emily Huff Howe (Jordan), MaryAnn Huff Moss (Dalton); six great-grandchildren; three sisters, Ethel Pittillo, Mary Lamb and Marie Blackwell all of Hendersonville, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband of 58 years, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Phyllis Rogers and Christine Lyda; and a brother, Harold (Bud) Orr, all of Hendersonville.

The family would like to thank Oakview Park Memory Care facilities, and Interim Hospice for the loving care given to Mrs. Huff.

A visitation will be held Friday, July 15, 2022, from 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at West Gantt First Baptist
Church, with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow the service at Graceland Cemetery West, White Horse Road in Greenville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Interim Hospice, 16 Hyland Rd., Greenville, S.C. 29615; or West Gantt First Baptist Church, 1452 White Horse Rd., Greenville, S.C. 29605.

The family is at the home of Kathy and Mike Campbell.
