She is first and foremost remembered for her deep love of her children: 2-year-old Kylie, 11-year-old Jaden, and 18-year-old Karina. To fulfill her dream of buying a home for them, Vanessa worked as the office manager of a real estate agency. Her pride and joy will live through them.
Vanessa's tight-knit, immediate family – mother Julie Amaya, father Steve Amaya, sister Jasmine, brother Steven -- along with all who loved her -- will keep her memory alive through stories of who she was and what she meant to them. She is also survived by her grandmother Tina Sandoval, her aunts, uncles, countless cousins, and her boyfriend, Brian Kirkland. She was a loving mom, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.
For her friends, Vanessa will live on through their memories of her contagious laughter and the good times they shared. She will always be loved forever and greatly missed by all the people she touched with her big heart and even bigger laughter.
She was born March 14, 1983 at Queen of the Valley Hospital in West Covina and graduated from Rancho Verde High School.
Vanessa's memorial service will be held Jan. 27 at 11 a.m. at Inland Hills Church, 14670 Ramona Ave., Chino, 91710, followed by a 1 p.m. burial at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 2161 Fullerton Ave, Rowland Heights, 91748.
