Rebecca "Becky" Scott Wiggins, age 68, passed away peacefully at home in Fairhope, Alabama on Sunday, July 10, 2022. She was surrounded by her family.
Becky was born October 1, 1953 in Birmingham, Alabama. She was a 1972 graduate of Vestavia Hills High School.
She was an accomplished artist, landscape designer, and interior designer, using her many talents in her careers with Wiggins Buildings Corporation and Realty South.
Becky was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Gregg Scott, Jr. (1928-2011) and Doris Rosalyn Burchfield Scott (1928-2009); her paternal grandparents, Jessie Gregg Scott, Sr. (1909-1960) and Florella Ruth Byrum Scott (1908-2003); her maternal grandparents, Hubert Roy Burchfield (1905-1981) and Rosa Blanch Fisher Burchfield (1910-2008); and one infant daughter, Laura Elisabeth Wiggins (1985-1985).
Survivors include Becky's husband, to whom she was married on June 23, 1972, five
children, eleven grandchildren, and one sister.
The family will greet friends from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home. Following the visitation will be A Service of Remembrance for Becky at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home's chapel. Interment will be at Southern Heritage Cemetery, Pelham.
