Services were held today for Arthur F. Legg of Manson at the Manson Community church with Rev. George Schreiner officiating. Pallbearers were Donald Morehead, Ralph Vercoe, Stanley Corbin, Paul Peters, King Gordon and Lawrence Lowther. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery, with Smith Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

He was born and reared in Manson, graduating from high school there. He entered the service June 9, 1945, and served 18 months in Anchorage, Alaska. He enrolled at the University of Washington following his discharge and was a sophomore at the time of his death. He had applied for re-enlistment and had recently been accepted.

Arthur F. Legg, 20, was killed last Monday, March 22, when his truck left the road and turned over on a grade one mile north of Manson.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur W. Legg; one sister, Carolynn, two uncles, Thomas Kussmaul of Manson and Loree Legg of Los Angeles; a grandmother, Mrs. Marian Kussmaul; and grandfather, F. M. Legg of Los Angeles.
