Miss Kayla Elianna Campbell, 16 of Mint Hill went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Sunday December 9, 2012.

Services to celebrate her life will be held 12:00 pm Saturday December 15, 2012 at Next Level Church 4317 Stevens Mill Road, Matthews, NC 28104 with Pastor Todd Hahn officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn East Cemetery.

Kayla was born August 18, 1996 in Moscow, Russia. She was a junior in the International Studies program at Independence Senior High where she lettered in Track and Cross Country. She was gifted with a beautifully creative spirit, enjoying poetry, photography and reading. Additionally, she was an active member in the Youth Ministry Program at Next Level Church. A loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend, she will be dearly missed.

She was predeceased in death by her paternal grandfather, Edwin Worth Campbell, Jr.
Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, Robert and Stephanie Campbell, a brother, Joshua, a sister, Shanley, maternal grandparents, James and Patricia Seegars, paternal grandmother, Sybil Campbell and numerous extended family members.
