LONE STAR - Marsha Ann Chatham, age 78, of Lone Star, Texas passed away on Sunday June 12, 2022 in Lone Star, Texas. She was born on June 12, 1944 in Brady, Texas to Valton Ray Cates and Mabel Irene (Hurd) Cates.
She was a licensed vocational nurse for over 40 years in Brady, San Angelo, Odessa, and Eden. She will be remembered as loving mother and grandmother who was always willing to listen to her family, pass on wisdom, and cook a great meal.
Marsha is survived by her loving husband of 53 years Jay A. Chatham of Lone Star, Texas, sister Linda (Art) Klement of Frankston, Texas, daughters Ona Ellison of Brady, Texas, and Mariah Chatham of Lone Star, Texas, grandchildren Micaela Ortiz, Brandon Ortiz, Cory Chatham, Courtney Chatham, Kristina McBride, Jewel Farmer, Dustin Jones, T.J. Turk, and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Laura Middleton, and son Garron Turk.
Family and friends will gather to honor Marsha's memory at a private service.
