Margaret D. Schau, the daughter of Maurice and Gladys Gann, was born on September 12, 1929, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She received her education in Perry, Iowa.

Margaret was working at the telephone company in Ida Grove, Iowa as a switchboard operator

husband, Raymond F. Schau. They were married for 57 years, until Raymond's passing on May 6, 2013.

Margaret was a dedicated housewife and a great mother. Margaret helped her husband operate a family business, Midwest Shooters Supply in Schaller, Iowa which they sold in 1986 and they retired.

Margaret enjoyed traveling with her husband and daughter for many years to see the country.

Margaret enjoyed cooking, always trying new recipes and her specialty was her bread making skills. She also enjoyed knitting and sewing, playing board games and enjoying time with her grandchildren.

Margaret passed away peacefully on July 14, 2022, in Spencer, Iowa at the age of 92.

She is proceeded in death by her parents and husband.

Graveside Services will be 10:00A.M., Thursday, July 21, 2022, at Riverside Cemetery in Spencer.
