Winnifred Mae Montgomery, a resident of the Chelan Valley for 40 years, died in the Chelan hospital on October 21.
Winnifred Wooden was born April 17, 1882, in Mount Pleasant, Missouri. She was married December 22, 1897, at Goodson, Missouri, to C. R. Montgomery. They moved to Withrow in 1900, and to Manson in 1923. Her husband preceded her in death in 1959.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Elston Batemen, Manson; three sisters, Mrs. Maude Leslie, Bellingham; Mrs. Rose Brown, Cut Bank, Montana; and Mrs. Clarence (Clarice) Nelson, Ennis, Montana, and a brother, Ray Wooden, Bellingham.
Services were held yesterday.
