ELIZABETH WEEKS HOLMES

Elizabeth Weeks was a daughter of Thomas Weeks and his wife, Catherine Clark. Elizabeth mar. 10 Feb. 1780, to Benjamin Holmes, a Revolutionary War veteran. They first moved to Clarendon, VT, and then moved to Georgia, Franklin Co., VT, about 1787.

Benjamin had a tavern in Georgia, VT. He and Elizabeth were known for their interest in the community and their benevolences for those in need. Elizabeth was affectionately known in the community as "Aunt Betty."
