CHELAN - Elsa A. Phillips, 81, Chelan, died Saturday, Aug. 19, 1995, in her home, following an extended illness.
She was born March 4, 1914, in Seattle to Jens Fredrick and Anna (Jensen) Andersen. She was raised and attended school in Seattle and graduated from Garfield High School.
Mrs. Phillips was a dental assistant for a short time. She married Wellington (Wimpy) Phillips on June 5, 1937, in Seattle. They lived in Holden Village until 1956, when they moved to Chelan.
She was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church and of hospital guilds at the Lake Chelan Community Hospital.
Survivors include her husband, at the home; two sons, John, Snohomish, and William, Seattle; one brother, Carl Andersen, San Gabriel, Calif.; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother.
Arrangements are by Precht Rose Chapel, Chelan.
