Janice attended and graduated from West High School (Class of '58), NWTI and Purdue University. She was a Respiratory Therapist for St. Mary's Hospital in Green Bay for 30 years before her retirement. Janice had a deep love for animals and volunteered for The Wildlife Sanctuary in her free time. The music of Janis Joplin, Rod Stewart, and Joan Baez was near and dear to her heart. Janice enjoyed traveling, especially to New York City. She would always put others first and will be remembered for being an activist who stood up and spoke out for the things and people she cared so passionately about.
Janice is survived by her daughter, Jenny Slack; son, Daniel (fiancé Deanne Sylvester) Slack; grandchildren, Owen (Katie Bryfczynski) Slack, Hali Slack, Ethin White, Nia Sylvester; siblings, Angel (Tom) Diny, Sandra Zwaschka, Del (Carol) Collard, Cathy Collard, Joan Molling, Lisa (John) Gegare; sister in law, Judi Collard; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter; siblings, Bobby Collard, Patti Collard; brother-in-law, Leo Zwaschka; feline friends, Teddy Bear, Anakin, Kitty, CC; canine companions, Sparky and Annie; and a special cockatiel, Lacey.
