Our Mother, Marlene Kahilu (Burns) Stoll, 84, of Ladson, S.C., was called home by our Heavenly Father, September 7, 2020.
She was born to Paul Kekoa and Hazel Agnes Keohohiwa Burns of Kalihi Oahu, August 25, 1936. She had a glorious passing surrounded by those who loved her.

She lived a very exciting full life filled with God, love, devotion, hard work, laughter, colleagues, friends, her seven children, her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She was always a strong proponent of an educated mind and earned her diploma late in life. Her mind was strong, her humor was swifter and her heart was large. She was selfless in her devotion to her children. She would feed anyone and everyone. All were welcomed at her table. Including all of our friends. Her song was light and her laughter was infectious. She always gave credit to God for all the miracles she would witness through her rich life. Always the spiritual searcher, she joined Northwoods Assembly of Summerville S.C in 1984 and remained a member until her death. She was grateful for all that the church had done for her and her family and loved the staff, who were always available for her and always were attentive to her needs.

She is preceded by her son, Charles J. Stoll Jr. (Glenda). Her parents Paul and Hazel Burns. Sisters, Louise Kalahiki (Edward), Lucille Aki (John), Josephine Auld (Olando), and brothers Paul Burns (Kanoelani) and Chester Burns.

She is survived by her sister Eleanor Ferriera (George) and brothers Robert Burns (Rose) and Kenwell Burns (Margarite). Her Children, Joy Koth (Harold Jr.) Kenwell Stoll (Melody), Kanoelani Stoll, Olivia Powers (Mark), Carolyn Fennel (Anthony), Lance Stoll, and her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

We bid our beloved Marlene, farewell and will be forever grateful for the love and wisdom she generously imparted to others. Thank you God for making her love possible. Aloha Oe, Sweet Mother. Until we meet again. Our joyous celebration for our dearest Kupuna (respected elder), will begin 10 am, September 19, 2020 at Carolina Memorial Funerals & Cremation, with interment to follow. Flowers may be sent to 7113 Rivers Ave. North Charleston, S.C. 29406 Condolences and donations may be sent to our devoted sister Olivia Powers 9936 Kendal Dr. Orlando, Fl. 32817 as she will be responsible for Mahalo's.

May God bless our comings and goings and may he keep us safe. May we all go on loving one another and may all the children of the world be fed. Amen
