William Wallace Rodgers was born 25 Jan 1842 in Hartland, Windsor, Vermont to Lorenzo and Mary Ann (Rood) Rodgers. He married Ellen Maria Sims of Lemington, Vermont (daughter of Erastus and Clarissa (Bagley) Sims). William Wallace Rodgers served in the Civil War, having enlisted in Company B, Vermont 12th Infantry Regiment on 04 Oct 1862. He Mustered out on 14 Jul 1863 at Brattleboro, VT. William died 25 Jun 1926 in Temple, Hillsborough, New Hampshire, apparently staying with his daughter Susie Luella (Mrs. Frank Cutter), who was a nurse.
