James F. Acheson, 106, of 297 Mendon Rd. died yesterday at Memorial Hospital.
Born in Central Falls, he was a son of the late Colin T.K.* and Margaret (Corrigan) Acheson.
Mr. Acheson was a communicant of St. Theresa's Church.
In his youth he worked at the former Monastery of Our Lady of the Valley, Cumberland. He later worked in the plastering trade in a family-owned business until retiring 41 years ago.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
