Rites for Theresa Mullan Will Be Held Thursday
A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Dowd Memorial Chapel on the Boys Town campus for Theresa Flanagan Mullan, the youngest sibling of Monsignor Edward J. Flanagan, Boys Town's founder.
Mrs. Mullan, a resident of the Mercy Care Center, died Monday. She was 101. She had worked at the Boys Town Post Office and was its postmaster from 1938 until her retirement in 1961.
She is survived by nieces and nephews. The rosary will be said at 7 tonight at Dowd Chapel.
