She was born on May 23, 1937, in Jump River. MaryAnn lived in a small house in Jump River with her five brothers and five sisters. She was the oldest daughter of John and Eva (Franzen) Bromley.
MaryAnn graduated from Tony High School in May 1955. MaryAnn married Raymond Olson on January 8th, 1956 and resided in Somerset. They eventually found their way back to Glen Flora, where she worked as a domestic engineer.
MaryAnn enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, sewing, gardening, bingo, watching Days of Our Lives and making popcorn balls along with a variety of Christmas cookies and fudge for the holidays. Many Christmases were spent eating cookies and playing board games with her children and grandchildren. Her ability to make peach cobbler was one of her most enjoyed desserts by family and friends.
MaryAnn is survived by her seven children, David of Marshfield, Cindy of Rice Lake, Steven of Weyerhaeuser, Beth of Oshkosh, Karen of Glenwood City, Julie Deyo of La Crosse and Debra of Glenwood City; 11 grandchildren,; 4 great grandchildren; and her brothers and sisters; Jerome Bromley (Dorothy Wernig) of Florida, Margaret Jedinak of Ohio, Colin Bromley of Illinois, Paula Bromley of Ladysmith and Rita (Peter) Hutchinson of Virginia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She also will be greatly missed by her friends at the Ladysmith Care Community.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; her parents; her sisters, Kathleen Musiedlak and Louise Bahr and her brothers; Fr. Vincent Bromley, Dennis Bromley and Roger Bromley.
