Born in Harrison County, Texas, PETER ABNER was the son of David Abner Sr. and Mrs. Louisa (Kilworth) Abner.

He worked as a school teacher.

He married Mrs. Alene Boneau (Halloway) Abner on June 22, 1888 in Harrison County, Texas. To their union, two children were born, namely their son, Eustace B. Abner, and their daughter, Ethel Ludolph Abner.

By 1900, PETER ABNER, his wife, Alene, and their two children resided to Trinity County, Texas.

By 1920, he married again to Mrs. Jessie E. Abner. They resided in Montgomery County, Texas where the both worked as school teachers.

By 1930, he had married once again to Mrs. Maria/Mary Abner. They resided and worked as teachers in Angelina County, Texas.

His wives preceded him in death.

Upon his passing, PETER ABNER was laid to rest on December 5, 1946 on the grounds of Cedar Grove Cemetery.

Burial arrangements were managed by Lattimore Funeral Home of Lufkin.
