She worked in her early years building organs for the former Baldwin Organ Company in Clarksville, IN and next with the former Conn Organ Company in Madison, In. Jean stepped away from working outside her home and spent the last 50 years taking care of her family especially her son Michael. She was a great cook, enjoyed studying, collecting cookbooks, and spending as much time as she could at the Dollar General Store.
Jean is survived by her son, Michael Womack and his wife Denise of Charlestown, IN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles Leon Womack on August 29, 2000, and several siblings.
Life Celebration services will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at 1:00 P.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington, IN with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Saturday at 10:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M.
