Mrs. Brenda Ann Baker Jara, age 54 of Corbin was born in Knox County, KY on October 31, 1967 to the late Jesse and Sudie Brock Baker and departed this life on July 21, 2022 in the Hillcrest Health and Rehabilitation Center in Corbin.
She was a member of Rockhold Baptist Church and enjoyed cleaning her house, Baking, caring for her house plants, watching Westerns and Good Preaching, and time with family and friends.
In addition to her parents, her husband: Joe Jara; a daughter: Amanda Jara; 2 brothers: Jay Harvey Baker and Robert Baker; and 2 sisters: Joann Watson and Betty Napier preceded her in death.
She is survived by her loving children; Kimberly Hatfield and husband Justin of Florence, KY, Holly Jara of Richmond, KY, and Joe Jara and Kelly Jo Jara both of Williamsburg, KY; 3 sisters: Emily Dye and husband Vernon, Jessie Ledger and husband Danny, and Rose Watkins and husband Doug all of Rockhold; 3 grandchildren: McKenzie, Kinley, and Genesis Ann; other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Brenda Jara will be conducted in the Corn Creek Baptist Church on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at 4:00 P.M. with Rev. Johnny Rogers and Brother Danny Ledger officiating. Burial will follow in the Perkins Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
