Mrs. Dent worked in Childhood Development at the YMCA in Painesville. She was a member of the Eagle's Lodge in Painesville. She loved gardening her flowers and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband: Jerry Dent, Sr. of Painesville Twp; a daughter: Teresa (Douglas) Gibson, of Thompson; a son: Jerry (Brenda) Dent, II, of Painesville; 4 grandchildren: Samantha, Amanda, Cheyenne, and Siera; and 2 brothers: Jimmy (Kitty) Aleshire of Willowick and Charles (Kathy) Aleshire of West Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents Aaron and Tressie Aleshire of Meadow Fork of Hewett W.Va..
Visitation will be held on June 6, 2004 from 5-8pm at the Behm Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison. A funeral service will take place on June 7, 2004 at 11am at the funeral home. The place of burial will be the Maple Grove Cemetery in Thompson
