Annemarie was my co-worker at Walt Disney World Health Services and well loved by all. She was close to her family and friends and loved furry friends especially cats small and big. After her retirement she volunteered at a large cat rescue.
Obit from funeral home: ANNEMARIE ELIZABETH MULLIN God called Annemarie to His side on July 19, 2022. She was born on January 1, 1952, in Philadelphia, PA, to Dorothy and John Mullin. She is survived by her nephew Jeffrey Mullin, his wife, Cortni, and their children Kane, Imree, Ruex, and Garner. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Patricia Mullin, Tony, Will, and Maggie Ferrell, Mary Ellen Schweiger, many wonderful friends and neighbors, and Anne's adoring four-legged kids, her cats, Nala, Simba, and Belle.
Anne attended Cardinal Dougherty High School and was a Licensed Practical Nurse at Nazareth Hospital where she worked in the Coronary Care Unit. She was a joy to work with and fantastic with her patients. She loved her Philadelphia Phillies and would go to games frequently. Her favorite was Tug McGraw, who she named her cat after. When they won the world series, she was ecstatic, and nothing was keeping her away from the victory parade. She would go to the Army-Navy game each year rooting for the Navy. She also loved car racing and would travel to Sebring, Florida, and work in the medical facility taking care of the racers and their teams. Annemarie, her brother John, and sister-in-law Pat would take their camper and travel to Florida to visit Disney World. They all eventually moved to Florida where they all became Walt Disney Cast Members. As a 24-year Walt Disney World Cast Member, she made many life-long friends who loved and supported her. After retiring from Disney World, she liked to spend her time volunteering at the Central Florida Animal Reserve, going to the beach each year with her family and friends, and going on Disney cruises.
Anne was predeceased by her parents, her brother, John, and her best friends, Rita Ferrell and Richard Caudy.
We were blessed by her presence and know she is soaring with angels at God's side with her beloved pets.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 1 pm, Saturday, July 30th, at Family Funeral Care Hunters Creek, 13001 S. John Young Pkwy, Orlando, FL 32837. In lieu of flowers, Annemarie requested donations to the Central Florida Animal Reserve, www.CFLAR.org.
