Died after a brief illness. Miss Burleigh has been in delicate health for sometime, but was taken seriously ill 2 weeks ago on the day of the fire which was a great shock to her and which her physican now thinks aggravated her disease which developed into typhoid fever. She ran down very rapidly but her death was sudden and a great shock to her circle of relatives and friends. Born in Vernon NY 1/1867 and removed with her parents to Warsaw 24 years ago where she had since resided. Her quiet christian life has endeared her not only to her family friends but to many acquaintances. Deep sympathy is felt for the bereaved parents; 3 sisters, one of whom Mrs. Herrick resides in Bancroft, Mich.
