James Mitchell Lambert, 40, of Green Spring, passed away tragically on Thursday, November 11, 2021 in Cresaptown, MD.

Born April 2, 1981 in Romney, he was the son of the late Eston Leo Lambert and Ruby Lee (Chilcott) Lambert. Besides his parents, James is preceded in death by (2) sisters, Pamela Shingleton and Tiny Bowen; and (3) nephews, Curtis Kasmier, Terry Kasmier, and Justin Boyer.

James is survived by (2) brothers, Timmy Lambert and wife Sonia of Purgitsville and John Lambert and wife Carrie of Augusta; (6) sisters, Tina Vasquez and husband Claudio of Stephens City, Christina Boyer and husband Mike of Levels, Patricia Boyer and husband Richard of Augusta, Cindy Buttrum and husband Tim of Augusta, Julie White and husband Tommy of Augusta, and Elizabeth Lambert and fiancé Joey of Romney. James is also survived by his (3) children, Dylan Mitchell Lambert, Brandon James Everett, and Saphira Rose Lambert; (1) granddaughter, (11) nieces, (7) nephews, and a great-uncle to many.

James worked at Owens & Dove and did multiple odd jobs in the community. He liked dogs (especially pit bulls), playing checkers, and any type of bike with a motor; if it ran, he was on it. He loved spending time with his family, going to the river, pulling jokes on people, and teasing. He was very outgoing and kind to everyone he met. He will be extremely missed by everyone who knew him.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Branch Mountain Cemetery in Three Churches, WV with Pastor Mark James officiating.
