Mrs. Lelah N. Reed, 83, of Maroa died 10:55 a.m. Sunday (June 23) in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Maroa, where friends may call 6 to 9 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Maroa Cemetery.
Mrs. Reed was born March 1, 1891, in Maroa, daughter of Joseph and Emma Luallen Vaughn. She was a charter member of the Maroa Christian Church and belonged to Maroa Lodge 98 of Queen Esther Rebekah.
She married George Reed Dec. 15, 1909 in Maroa. He died Sept. 26, 1963.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Clarence (Jennie) Jones of Maroa; sisters, Mrs. Logan (Jennie) Forth and Mrs. David (Jessie) McDaniel, both of Tucson, AZ.; two grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, one brother and two sisters.
