Anthony Cosmo Del Vecchio 80 years old of Spring Hill, Florida

Passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Canterbury Arms Assisted Living

He was born in the Bronx, New York on October 27, 1941. He came to Spring Hill 22 years ago from Eastchester, New York.



Predeceased by his parents Filomena and Cosmo DelVecchio



Survived by wife, Barbara (Ritter) Del Vecchio of 56 years; his loving children, John (Karen) Del Vecchio, Janine Noska (Scott), Suzanne (Kenneth) Loisch, Brian (Lisa) Del Vecchio; and grandchildren, Justin, Kayla, Kyle, Christian and Paton; sister, Angela Kalanz (Robert) and many nieces and nephews.



A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joan of Arc Church in Spring Hill. Internment at Grace Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul, Spring Hill.
Tony retired as an Assistant Principal from Isaac Young Middle School in New Rochelle, NY and continued to work at St. Joan of Arc for 9 years. His interests included coaching youth baseball, bowling, woodworking and being a "honey do" man. Tony was a lifetime New York Yankee fan. He belonged to the Knights of Columbus, volunteered both at St. Vincent de Paul's Food Pantry and St. Joan of Arc Parish. He loved working in the kitchen both at home and during St. Joan's Ethnic Festival.



Tony's passing leaves a void in many lives. His gentle presence and kind quiet heart will be

dearly missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, sister, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
