Paul, 84, Windsor, died Thursday afternoon, May 6, 2004, at Golden Valley Hospital, Clinton. she was born April 29, 1920, in Kansas City, the daughter of Robert Eldridge Callicotte and Iva Pearl (Priest) Callicotte. On December 6, 1937, in Platte City, she married Nathan Earl Johnson, who survives. On April 29, 1968, in Miami, Oklahoma, she married Robert Owen Paul, Jr., who died December 9, 1985. Mrs. Paul worked in a variety of jobs including a waitress for 16 years in the Avondale Cafe in Avondale; in the health food store at Montgomery Wards in Kansas City; as a salad maker at North Kansas City Hospital; a cook at the Windsor Hospital; owner of Windsor Health Food Store for several years; as a sales clerk at Vincent's Shoe Store in Windsor. She was a member of the Windsor United Methodist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Lois E. Lindstedt, Windsor, Marilyn J. Downing and husband, J. Walter, Orange, California; three grandchildren, Tammy L. Corica and husband, Robert, Julie K. Holmes and husband, Jay, Kathyren I. Downing; three great-grandchildren, Carrie N. Paton and husband Eric, Jack Downs and wife Emily, Nathan Downs; three great-great-grandchildren Judah Holmes, Cami N. Paton, Erica J. Paton; a brother, Robert Callicotte and wife, Dorothy Avondale; a sister, Reba Marie Mitchell and husband, Donald, Smryna, Tennessee, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jo Evelyn Downs on December 27, 2001; a great-great-grandson, Dylan Paton, and a sister, Genevieve West. Funeral services were Monday, May 10, at Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor. Burial was in Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor.
