Earl Dwayne Dickerson, 75, of Broaddus, Texas and formerly of Trout Creek community died July 31, 2022, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.

Funeral service will be 11am Friday, August 5, 2022 at Call Junction Baptist Church in Kirbyville, Texas.

Burial at Trout Creek Cemetery in Newton County.

Visitation will be 6~8pm Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville.

Born May 13, 1947 in Bleakwood, Texas to P.K. and Beatrice Dickerson. He had lived most of his life in Kirbyville and was a retired process operator with Valero Refinery in Port Arthur. He was also a U.S. Navy veteran during the Vietnam War.

Earl graduated from Newton High School ~ Class of 1965.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Dickerson of Broaddus, his daughter, Toni Annette Prestenbach and Dan of Houma. Louisiana, his brother, Thomas Ray Dickerson and Jeanette of Kirbyville, Texas, his sisters, Debra Bonner and David of Buna, Texas and Sherry Fletcher of Kirbyville, his grandchildren, Dana Sabrina Thompson and Matthew, Ben Franklin, Hunter Franklin, Taylor Axberg, Nate Dickerson and Jeffiner, Stetson Belew and Shelton Lee Nicholson and Kim, great grandchildren, Wyatt, Aria, Ella Maddilynn, Ollie and Lee Jr.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Nathan Dickerson.
