Rites for Jonas Lind, Galva, to Be Saturday
GALVA, Ill. -- Services for Jonas J. Lind, 85, who died Thursday, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Johnson's chapel. The Rev. Harold Thrall, First Methodist church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Galva cemetery.
Mr. Lind, a retired carpenter, has made his home for many years with his daughter, Mrs. Lennie Nordstrom and family. He was born in Sweden Feb. 19, 1866, and came to America as a young man, settling here. His wife, the former Bessie Hanson of Toulon, whom he married Aug. 24, 1892, preceded him in death.
