Elizabeth S. Alberico, age 69, beloved wife of Cosmo Alberico and a seven year resident of Walnut Tree Village, Sandy Hook, CT and previously of Eastchester, NY died October 30, 2011 in Yale-New Haven Hospital. She was born in New Rochelle, NY on July 3, 1942 a daughter of the late Enrico and Mary (Costa) Lore. Elizabeth was a Liver Transplant recipient at Yale-New Haven Hospital 16 years ago. She was a member of the Walnut Tree Village Phase 2 Residents Association and a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, Newtown, CT. She had also lived previously in Brookfield, CT for 8 years.

In addition to her husband, survivors include a son, 3 daughters, her siblings, Joseph, Sam, Jim, Daisy, Vinnie, Gloria and Ann; 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Rose of Lima Church, 46 Church Hill Road, Newtown, CT 06470 Friday Nov. 4, 2011 at 10:30am.(today) Interment will follow in St. Rose Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of the Honan Funeral Home, Newtown, CT.
