NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Leo J. Pusateri, 80, of Naperville, Ill., and formerly a longtime resident of Marshfield, passed away Thursday, Jan. 24, 2008, at Edward Hospital in Naperville.

He was born July 12, 1927, in Forest Park, Ill. Mr. Pusateri was an army veteran and had worked for many years as a truck driver. He later worked in maintenance at the Marshfield Clinic in Marshfield.

He was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Naperville. His greatest pleasure was being a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by three daughters, Jeannette (Jeff) Clark of Naperville, Judy (Rich) Gentile of Hoffman Estates, Ill., and Joyce (Miguel) Ugarte of Chesterfield, Mo.; two sons, Tony (Suzanne) of Naperville and Leo Jr. (Denise) Pusateri of St. Cloud, Minn.; two stepchildren, Karen (Keith) Johnson, Alabama, and their children and grandchildren, and Don (Sue) Solie, Texas, and their children and grandchildren; 14 grandchildren, Angie and Gina Pusateri, Dustin (Stephanie), Darrin and Douglas Vickmark, Leo Pusateri III, Jackson Barnes, Greg (Suzanne) Lindsay, T.J. and Katie Clark, David (fiancee Chanell) and Stephen Gentile and Michelle Janicki and David Ugarte; one expected great-grandchild; and one brother-in-law, Lee Beening of Crawfordsville, Ind.

He was preceded in death by his wives, Jeannette M. (nee Gravel) and Nell Solie Pusateri; and two sisters, Dorothy Beening and Antoinette Pusateri.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 28, 2007, at the Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home, 516 S. Washington St., Naperville, to St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 1500 Brookdale Rd. Naperville, for a 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment is at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Hillside, Ill.


Visitation is at 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home
