Joseph graduated from Tufts University in 1958 and Tufts Medical School in 1962. He was devoted to his family. Joseph was survived by his wife of 58 years, 4 children, their spouses, 10 grandchildren, a sister and brother. He was a dedicated and thoughtful physician. For more than 50 years, he derived joy from meeting with and helping heal patients. He was named Orthopaedist of the Year by the Massachusetts Orthopaedic Association in 2017.
