Samuel was born in Portland, Maine February 13, 1946. And died on November 27, 2021 at 75 years old in Centennial, Colorado. He was born to Glenys Lane and Thomas Ralph Bartholomew and had sister Jean Crowley and brother Robert Bartholomew - and is survived by Robert Bartholomew. Samuel married in 1971 and widower of Patricia Herzing and later married Mildred Attardi in 1998.

Sam served in the US Navy in Vietnam and later went to electric tech school and continued his career in construction and repair. He worked in drywall and was proficient in all construction where he later worked for Oakwood Homes as a warranty representative. He loved history and was well versed with world history/current events and construction and outdoor activities. He loved war movies and sci-fi movies, cats and dogs, cooking - and was an easy laughter. Also, Sammy was a hunter, loved fishing and camping and the outdoors - and was loved by many.
