She was born August 28, 1866, at Orangeville, the daughter of Silas and Mary Jones Kittle. October 12, 1882, she married John F. Merrill who survives her.
She also leaves a son, Claude F. Merrill of Orangeville, a daughter, Mrs. Walter Scott of Warsaw, eight grandchildren and a brother, Franz S. Kittle of South Warsaw. She made her home in Orangeville until eight years ago when she came to Warsaw to live.
The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon, July 17th from her late home with the Rev. Howard M. Wilson, officiating. The burial was in the Warsaw Cemetery.
