MULVANE - Slavens, Tony, 50, self-employed drywaller, died Sept. 21, 2003. Visitation 12 to 8 pm Tuesday, 9 to 11 am Wednesday, both at Senter-Smith Mortuary; service 1:30 pm Wednesday, St. Michael Catholic Church.
He was born Jan. 30, 1953 at Wichita, the son of James Lloyd and Eleanor Ruth (Keeton) Slavens. A lifelong resident of Mulvane, he was a graduate of Campus High School.
Survivors: daughter, Lisa Slavens and fiance', Matthew Schmidt, Mulvane; parents, James and Ruth Slavens, Mulvane; brothers, Larry Slavens, San Benito, TX, Gary Slavens, Ellington, MO; sister, Beverly Browning, Whitesboro, TX; granddaughter, Kacie Dunlap, Mulvane; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
