Tommy was a jack of all trades, who knew how to do most anything. What he did not know how to do he would learn.
He worked primarily in the construction business and was a member of The First United Methodist Church in Trenton Texas. Tommy was born in Waco Texas on 12/2/1938 and was proud to be a Texan. Having lived for a short while in several states including a stint in California as a Marine, a year in Montana as a school teacher, as well as time in Oklahoma and Florida but he always found his way back home to Texas. He loved to travel to exotic locations and well as the US. Mexico was his favorite travel destination.
He married his high school sweetheart Retta Gene Greenfield on 10/27/1960 in Grand Prairie Texas.
They soon had a daughter and a son.
Christine Adele Shaw (Haden) 7/16/1961 and Mark Alan Shaw 9/29/1964. Tommy leaves behind a wife, two children and eight grandchildren.

Since his passing he now has one great grandchild who I am sure he would have loved. She looks like him, has his blue eyes and even some of his traits.

My daddy...
A loving husband and father who is missed everyday.
He had eight grandchildren some of whom were still very young and never really got to know him and spend time with him. He was a wonderful grandfather. Very loving, happy go lucky, funny and fun to be with. A buddy to the older ones taking them to wrestling, on vacations, fishing or maybe just to dinner or an overnight stay.
