Rosemary J. (Vanderbusch) Borgwardt, age 95, of Cameron Park, California, passed away on August 5, 2022. Rosemary was born July 30, 1927 in Two Rivers, daughter of the late James and Ottilia "Delia" (Spaeth) Van Sleet. She attended St. Luke's Elementary School and was a graduate of Washington High School, Two Rivers with the Class of 1945. On July 31, 1948 Rosemary was united in marriage to Le Roy Vanderbusch at St. Luke's Catholic Church, Two Rivers. He passed away on May 28, 1985. On November 6, 1987 Rosemary married Alton Borgwardt of Cleveland, Wisconsin. He passed away on May 30, 2010. Rosemary worked for many years in the secretarial field. After retirement, she and Alton spent winters in Arizona before moving there permanently. Rosemary moved to Cameron Park, CA in 2014. She enjoyed travel, dining out, golf, dancing, reading, biking, and visiting with her family and friends. Survivors include one daughter, Karen (Jerry) Reusch, Cameron Park, CA; two sons, Allen (Rose) Vanderbusch, Rock Falls, IL; Thomas (Kay) Vanderbusch, Muskego, WI; five grandchildren: Jeffrey Reusch, Brian Vanderbusch, Scott Vanderbusch, Holly Vanderbusch, Heidi (Vanderbusch) Kawczynski; four great-grandchildren; one brother, James Van Sleet, Manitowoc; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Gene Kostka, in-laws Patricia Van Sleet, Marvin Vanderbusch, Winifred Bruechert, and other relatives. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at the Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Dave Pleier with burial to take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers at a later date. The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Sunday, August 21, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to the time of services at 3:00 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family by visiting www.kleinandstangel.com
