John H. Romano Jr., 86, of Bethalto, IL passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born on July 26, 1936, in Alton, IL the son of John Frank and Ruby (Adams) Romano.

John was a graduated from Civic Memorial High School. He was a jack of all trades and was a Carpenter for Anderson in the 60s. He then started working for Olin Manufacturing in 1966 were he worked for 34 years until he retired.

He is survived by his children, Catholine "Carol" Romano of Anna, IL, Catherine Mary Norris of New Mexico, and Rosalie A. Mills of Worden, IL; three grandchildren, Thomas Scott Romano of Worden, IL, Lucy Lynn Norris of New Mexico, and Michael Ryan Norris of New Mexico; and one great grandson, Noah Ray Mills of Worden, IL.

John was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be private, and a burial will take place at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto, IL
