Wayne Allard, 70, of Floyd, Va., finished his journey on earth on Friday, August 5, 2022. He has begun his journey in heaven after a courageous battle with cancer. Wayne was born in Norfolk, Va. on September 4, 1951. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lizzie Echolene and Garland Whitley Allard; and brothers, Bobby Morris, Gene Allard, Garland Montgomery, Jerry Allard and James Allard.
He is survived by his son, Aaron Allard, of Floyd, Va.; daughters, Joy (Steven) Thomason, of Salem, Va., Crystal (Darrell) Parker, of Floyd, Va.; step-daughter, Ashley Breeden, of Fairlawn, Va.; grandchildren, Taylor Hairston, Cameron Parker, Javon Parker, Logan Hairston, Jada Breeden, Steven Thomason Jr.; sisters, Shirley Beech, Rose Enyart, Doris Armentrout; friend and co-parent, Betty Ross; and many other friends, including D.M. Criner, Leslie Matheny and Elden Cox, to name a few.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at the Bethesda House of Mercy with Pastor Ed Gallimore officiating.
