Steven R. Kath, also known as David Dunn with WOMT Radio Station, age 70, entered eternal life on Friday, August 5, 2022 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center in Manitowoc.

Steve was born on July 25, 1952 in Ashland. He was the son of the late Jay and Jane Maertz Dunn. Steve attended Lincoln High School graduating with the class of 1971. He was a Viet Nam era Naval reservist. Steve continued his education at Brown Institute of Broadcasting in Minneapolis, MN from August 1972 to May 1973. He then became employed with WLIH in New London and later with WDUX in Waupaca. For a brief time he became employed with Paragon Electric in Two Rivers and Mirro Aluminum in Manitowoc. Steve then returned to radio at WCUB in Manitowoc, WDSM in Duluth, WGGR FM in Duluth, and then music director with WGEZ in Beloit. Steve then returned to Manitowoc in October 1986 and became employed with WOMT until February 1995 when he started working at WKTT in Cleveland until June 1966 when he returned to WOMT until June 2010 when poor health forced him to retire. While he resided in Beloit, Steve was the Vice President of the local Jaycee Chapter and also served as the District Director for the State Jaycees. He was also an avid Green Bay Packer, Milwaukee Brewer and Wisconsin Badger fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jay and Jane Dunn.
