Born February 27, 1944 in Chiswick, England, she was the daughter of the late Frederick W. Budgen and Elizabeth Mary Budgen (Wibberley).
Lesley finished her schooling at Ashford Secondary Modern School in Ashford, Middlesex. She worked for the Australia-New Zealand Bank in London before working as an office manager at a doctor's office in New Martinsville, WV.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 50 years, Jon Amundson whom she married in Winchester, VA on November 20, 1972; one daughter, Elizabeth Heimlich, and husband Douglas; and one granddaughter, Charlotte Heimlich.
She was known by all as a loving and kind woman, a prayer warrior, and by her favorite Psalm 23.
Funeral service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Inwood on Monday, August 15, 2022 at 11AM.
Interment will be in Lowman Baptist Cemetery in Wetzel County, WV on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at 12PM.
