Arthur "Paul" Ayers, Sr., 84 of Canal Fulton, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2022. He was born January 3, 1938 in Erwin, WV to the late Virgil and Ethel (Lambert) Ayers. Paul retired from the Ford Motor Company after 38 years of service and was a member of the Canal Fulton Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing the guitar and Mandolin, music, camping with his wife, tinkering and supporting his children and grandchildren at all of their sporting events. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Rosetta Ayers; grandson, Jordan Ayers; daughter-in-law, Renee Ayers; brother, Earnest Ayres and sister, Lucille Loughry. Paul is survived by his children, Arthur (Cheryl) Ayers, Jr., Marcy (Gregory) Konen and Mitchell (Diana) Ayers; grandchildren, Justin (Tiffny), David (Ashley), Jacob (Samantha), Brandon (Mackenzie), Eddie, Lindsay (Joe) and James (Alicia); great-grandchildren, Honesty, Caleb, Cali, Ryker, Jordyn and Kaisley; sister, Lois (Noel "Buddy") Boggs; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held SATURDAY, August 13, 2022, 1:00pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton. Burial at Canal Fulton Cemetery.
