Patrick K. Schwind, 60, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at his home.
Born January 8, 1952 in Tacoma Washington, he was the son of Justin & Maxine Kelley Schwind. Educated in California, he was a 1970 graduate of San Marcos High School.
Following high school, Patrick entered the US Navy, serving during the Vietnam Conflict. After being honorably discharged from the Navy, Patrick began his lifelong career as a truck driver. For many years he was a long haul trucker, driving all across the United States.
in 2001, Patrick fulfilled his dream of moving to Main. here he continued trucking, driving for McCain. He retired in 2007.
Patrick's passion was old cars. He enjoyed anything to do with cars, especially watching auto auctions and rebuilds on TV. He also took great joy in his beloved dog 'Cody.'

Patrick was adopted at/near his birth to Dr. Justin Valentine (1912-1977) & Maxine M (Kelly) Schwind (1920-2000). He knew of his adoption, but to the family's knowledge, never knew his biological parents.
