Albert Edward "Mike" Hathaway, 72, husband of Deborah Hathaway, passed away on August 12, 2022 in Lexington. Albert was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on March 7, 1950 to the late Joe and Mae Jasper. He was a traffic supervisor with the city of Lexington for many years. During his two tours in the Vietnam War he served as a jungle expert for the army. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sister, Carol (Houston) Cotes, of Loveland, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Albert was preceded in death by his son, Anthony "Tony" Hathaway; and his brother, Johnny Hathaway. A graveside service will be held for Albert on Wednesday, August 18, 2022 at 11am at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Mr. Hathaway to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
