Mrs. Marie O Clark, 78, widow of Joseph Clark died at the Boyd Nursing Home Thursday evening where she had been a patient since April.
Born in Cass County September 6, 1882 she was the daughter of Adolph and Marie Schroeder Holtman. She was married to Joseph Clark. To this union four daughters and three sons were born. One daughter is deceased.
Those children surviving are as follows; Mrs. Linda Smith of Springfield, Mrs. Ada Kistner of Beardstown, Mrs. Lena Rebman of Beardstown, Joseph Clark of Versailles, William Clark of Jacksonville and Clarence Clark of Beardstown where she had made her home for several years. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at the Cline Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Donald Krueger, pastor of the First Ev. Lutheran Church of Beardstown, officiating.
Interment will be made in Versailles cemetery.
Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Saturday evening.
