Michael Allen Restelle, 74, of Queen City, Texas passed away peacefully at his home on August 12, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Restelle was born February 15, 1948 in Orange, Texas to Walter "Bud" Restelle and Virgina Earline "Sis" Allen Restelle. Michael served his country proudly in the United States Army.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Charlsie Sonier Restelle; daughter, Monica Bourgeois; son, Charles "Chuck" Restelle; grandsons, Jason "Sam" Humphrey and wife Mirage, Justin Humphrey and wife Ally, Zachary "Zach" Restelle and wife Rohini; great-granddaughters, Melanie Humphrey, Tinleigh Humphrey, Sonia Restelle; great-grandsons, Thor McKenna, Baldur Darby, Tyr Darby, Lochlan Humphrey, Lorcan Humphrey; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and R.K. Tilley; sisters-in-law, Treva Restelle, Margaret Restelle and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter "Bud" and Virginia "Sis" Restelle of Atlanta, TX; brothers, Kenneth Restelle, Melvin Restelle, Jerry Restelle all of Atlanta, TX and Donald Restelle of LaPorte, TX; father and mother-in-law, Charles "Buck" and Juanita "Nita" Sonier, and sister-in-law, Katherine Sonier Johnson all of Orange, TX.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Martin and Tracy Restelle and girls for their continued calls, text and visits; Brother David and Aaronia Baxley for their continuous love, time and support; Cheyanne Bates for always being there even when we did not know we need you, and New Hope Baptist Church members for all your prayers, calls, cards and friendship.

There will be a time of visitation Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00pm, at Hanner Funeral Service.

Services will be 4:00pm, Thursday, August 18, 2022 at New Hope Baptist Church with Bro. David Baxley officiating.

Interment will be at New Hope Cemetery with Military Honors.
