Obituary of William "Junior" Taylor

William "Junior" Taylor, 80, of Talladega, AL passed away in Birmingham on Monday, August 15, 2022. A funeral service will be held in his honor at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega. Robert Klotz will officiate. Interment will follow directly after the service at Hepzibah Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.

Mr. Taylor was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega. He was a member of the Whosoever Will Men's Bible Class, and he laid carpet and flooring for 56 years. Mr. Taylor enjoyed fishing, panning for gold, and being with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Erma Taylor and brothers, Arthur Taylor, Rayburn Taylor and Dennis Taylor.

Mr. Taylor is survived by his sons, Kevin (Angela) Taylor and Kale (Dedi) Taylor; grandchildren, Dylan "Little Man" Taylor, Celena "Little Bit" Taylor, and Kayla "KK" Taylor; sisters-in-law, Mary Taylor and Ruth Taylor, and many nieces and nephews.

Active pallbearers will be Alan Taylor, Coty Taylor, Edwin Taylor, Mike Murner, Dylan Taylor, Shane Partain, and Ricky Taylor.

Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Whosoever Will Men's Bible Class.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Whosoever Will Men's Bible Class, P.O. Box 299, Talladega, AL 35161.
