Mrs. Emily A. Pocock, 951 E. 2nd street, passed away early this morning in a local hospital. She moved to Pomona in 1901, having come here from Riverside where she lived some nine years after coming to California. Mrs. Pocock was born May 4, 1857, in Washburn, Mo.
Surviving are four sons, Edgar O. and John I., of Pomona; Frank E., of El Portal, Calif., and Joseph F., of Santa Ana, a daughter, Mrs. Geneva Baird, LaVerne; 13 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Her husband and a son, Eugene, passed away in 1929.
Funeral services will be Monday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the Smith & Lee funeral home, the Rev. George N. Reeves of the First Christian church officiating. Entombment will be in Pomona mausoleum.
