David James Driver, age 51 of Hudson, Ohio, formerly of Lima, Ohio, passed away Monday, August 15, 2022. Beloved son of Christine A. (nee Trutko) and the late James E. Driver.
David graduated from Hudson High School class of 1990, where he played football and he valued the lifetime friendships of the coaches and teammates. He served 6 years with the U.S. Navy on the Pacific Coast. He was employed by Martin Transportation Services as a truck driver. Despite his recent health challenges, he fulfilled his wish of a final annual fishing vacation trip to Minnesota. Grateful thanks to his childhood friend, Erick Carse, who made this possible, and to Ann and Dave at Deer Acres fishing resort for their help.
Thanks and appreciation also to the Hudson EMS, and the hospital staff of Marymount and VA Cleveland Wade Park for extraordinary compassionate care.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 25 at 11 am at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 10285 Ravenna Road, Twinsburg Ohio.
A graveside remembrance gathering will be held Friday, August 26 at 1 pm at Lewis Grove Cemetery, 4950 N. Thayer Road, Lima, Ohio near Pleasant View Church of the Brethren where he attended. Dress casually if you wish--(he would).
